Why do so many movers end up charging more than they quoted on the phone?
Because a phone quote is a guess, and some companies use a low guess to win the job and add the real cost back on moving day. The honest version is simple: we do not quote a final price over the phone. We send someone to your home for free, walk through what is actually moving, and hand you a written, itemized quote. The number on that paper is the number you pay. If something changes the job, we tell you before we continue, never after.
Are you actually licensed, or just a guy with a truck?
We are a registered Florida moving company, not a cash side job. We carry cargo and liability coverage on every move, and we will hand you our registration details and a certificate of insurance for your building before moving day. If a mover cannot or will not do that, that is the answer to your question.
What happens if you break something I care about?
You tell the crew leader before they leave and note it on the paperwork. We photograph the item, document it, and handle the claim through our coverage. We would rather repair or replace something properly than argue about it, and we would rather you tell us in the driveway than find it in a box three days later.
